| Overview of Placement: | Defence National Storage and Distribution Centre is a part of Joint Logistics Command provide operational level logistics planning, as well as co-coordinating, arranging and managing logistic support to ADF operations, exercises, and contingencies. This not only involves warehousing and distribution, but also the maintenance of land based equipment such as vehicles and weapons. Starting at 7.30am and finishing at 4.00pm , students will observe and engage in the maintenance and repair of small arms and weapon systems used by Defence. Students will shadow the role of an armourer and participate in a typical working week. |
