3 inch Mortar
The 3 inch Mortar was in British service and was used to support infantry. 3 inch Mortar Ammunition was in use with the Australian Army (for training) until the late 1980's.
Types of ammunition produced included:
- High Explosive (HE),
- White Phosphorous (WP),
- Star [Illuminating],
- Practice, and
- Message Carrying [Propaganda].
