Grenade No. 69
A British Service offensive grenade, the No 69 had a Bakelite Body and contained approximately 3.25oz of explosives (Lyddite, Baratol, Amatol). In 1944 cast iron jackets were fitted to improve lethality, but proved to be less effective than other fragmentation grenades.
