If not already complete, you are encouraged to lodge any claims for service related injuries and/or illnesses with DVA as soon as possible.

Training and Information Program (TIP).


The Training and Information Program (TIP) provides training and information for Welfare and Pensions Officers who are volunteers working within Ex-service organisations (ESOs).  TIP training is delivered to enable representatives to provide the best possible advice to veterans and former serving members.  TIP representatives can provide assistance with claims for compensation and advice about DVA and other benefits and are independent of the Department.

You may wish to consult a trained person from your local area or from an organisation linked to your Service or Regiment. To find out more about the TIP program you can contact the following:
