Cowan specialises in the design, manufacture, installation and ongoing in service support of recompression chambers worldwide.

Our products include:

  • The highly successful Cowan Transportable Recompression Chamber System, used extensively by the US and Australian Navy in diving operations. This unit is designed to operate in remote locations and harsh marine conditions, and can be containerised for rapid deployment.
  • New-era Standard 54” Double Lock Chambers currently being supplied to the US Navy. This unit is designed to be containerised for rapid deployment.
  • Search and Rescue Chambers for use on Philippine Coastguard vessels.
  • Low magnetic signature Twin Lock Chambers used by the Australian Navy Huon Class Minehunter fleet and the Thai Navy in mine countermeasure diving operations.
  • Large Hyperbaric Medical Chamber Systems used for Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment (HBOT). A recent full turn-key project involved the supply, installation, training and ongoing in service support of the Cowan 14-person chamber system in Phuket, Thailand. This was a full turn-key project undertaken by Cowan.
  • Containerised Chamber Systems - fully self sufficient and utilised for rapid deployment. These systems are also used to supplement hospital facilities as fixed or mobile installations.
