data transfer (Interactive Link Data Pump Applications - IL-DPA)

• Interactive Link Data Pump Applications (IL-DPA) allow clients to transfer data between networks connected by the Interactive Link Data Diode Device (IL-DDD)
• the data diode device provides a one-way connection between two networks, with hardware-enforced prevention of reverse data flow
• the data diode device is used to allow a secure network to receive data from a general purpose internal network, without the risk of data flowing in the opposite direction. this allows users to transfer data from less secure sources on to a secure network
• the data pump applications act as a proxy allowing connected applications to seamlessly send data across the data diode device
