data link integration and message translation (Data Link Management System)

The Data Link Management System (DLMS) provides a flexible tactical data link integration and message translation product which enables legacy and evolving combat systems to utilise data from various tactical data links.

The DLMS provides tactical data link message translation between a large number of tactical data links including Link 11, Link 16 and VMF.

The DLMS is built around proven military off the shelf hardware and software elements which has resulted in a robust and cost competitive product.

The DLMS uses an innovative software architecture which allows new data links and message formats and types to be rapidly added to the system.

The DLMS is currently under evaluation for use on a number of Australian platforms and systems. Core elements of the system are currently in use on a range of platforms within the US and UK defence forces providing Link 11, Link 16 and VMF message handling.
