Using mature systems engineering processes, Boeing Australia has successfully applied its systems integration capability to numerous projects requiring the integration of complex avionics systems to enhance capability and/or supportability of a variety of in-service aircraft, including F-111, P3 Orions, F/A-18 Hornets, Chinook and C-130. The success of these programs has established Boeing Australia as the premier low-risk avionics systems integrator in Australia.
Importantly, Boeing Australia's capability encompasses the complete system solution, from requirements definition through system design; detailed design; prototyping; modification installation; EMI/EMC; and test and evaluation activities.
System integration solutions have included sensor (Electronic Warfare sensors and radars), navigation (GPS); communications (secure radio systems); weapon systems (missile and countermeasures); support systems (voice and data recorders); and the associated software integration activities.
