armour systems - ballistic protection
Plates
These inserts can vary in weight, size, performance and cost depending on the specific requirements of the end user. RBR Armour Systems' hard armour inserts are manufactured using only the latest technology and materials. Depending upon application hard armour inserts can be manufactured from ceramic composite or polyethylene materials.
Plates can be produced to NIJ levels III, IV and NIJ Special Type or a specific requirement of the end-user. These plates have been supplied recently to security forces serving in Iraq.
Hemlets
Through years of stringent research and development, RBR Armour Systems have refined the traditional PASGT helmet to a point where it now offers lighter weight and higher protection levels. Our PASGT helmet is now the standard issue helmet to the Australian Defence Force.
Originally developed for the Swedish Army, the RBR Defender series helmet is now a popular alternative to the PASGT style if the wearer requires space for under-helmet communications equipment and gas masks.
Vehicle, Aircraft and Marine Vessel Armour
RBR Armour Systems can up-armour vehicles, aircraft and marine vessels to a number of threat levels according to customer specifications and requirements. Please contact us for further information regarding your up-armouring requests.
