Liferaft Systems Australia

Liferaft Systems Australia (LSA) is a dynamic, privately-owned Tasmanian company, established in 1992.

LSA was formed specifically for the design and manufacture of Marine Evacuation Systems (MES) and large capacity liferafts for high-speed craft and medium freeboard ferries.

LSA is continually and successfully evolving, and now LSA manufactures a wide range of MES and large capacity liferafts for all type of passengers vessels, including conventional ferries, high-speed craft, cruise ships and military vessels.

Diversification has been a key element of the company's continued success having developed unrelated products such as the Cormorant Lift Bag (CLB) and an Aviation Rescue Platform (ARP). The CLB was developed for, and in conjunction with, the Royal Australian Navy, whilst the ARP has been developed for Air Services Australia.

LSA remains a relatively small company, employing 40 highly-skilled personnel locally and two full-time international sales executives based in the UK.
