Aerosonde is a major Australian designer, manufacturer, and operator of innovative small unmanned aircraft systems (SUAS) that are small, lightweight, easily operated, and remarkably robust.

Aerosonde has offered a range of SUAS products since commencement of operations in 1995. Based in Melbourne, Australia, Aerosonde has 25 employees with expertise to offer a one-stop shop for customers seeking SUAS systems or services.

Acquired by AAI Corporation in June 2006, Aerosonde and its aircraft now have a place of distinction within the AAI family of unmanned aircraft systems, which includes the U.S. Army's renowned RQ-7B Shadow ® 200 Tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems.

AAI also produces an interoperability network of common ground control systems, including the state-of-the-art One System ® Ground Control Station, the One System Portable Ground Control Station, and the One System Remote Video Terminal component.
