| Military Temporary Export Permit (MTT) | Used for defence and related goods which will be returning to Australia (eg overseas demonstrated trials) | 12 months |
| Military Return to Manufacturer (MRM) | To return defence related goods to overseas manufacturer (eg after repair or modification) | 12 months |
| Military Return to Owner (MRO) | To return defence related goods to overseas owners (eg after repair or modification) | 12 months |
