Strategy, Coordination and Governance Executive
Deputy Secretary Strategy, Coordination and Governance heads the Strategy, Coordination and Governance Executive within the Department of Defence.
The Executive develops military strategy and strategic policy to provide a framework for the development of future Defence capability, and to support military deployments, operations, and exercises.
Strategy, Coordination and Governance Executive also has stewardship of key issues on the Defence agenda, including: the development of concepts of network-centric warfare; expanding Australia’s counter-proliferation efforts; and managing Australian participation in the US Missile Defence Program.
