Reserve Reform Survey
Under the Strategic Reform Program (SRP) the Navy, Army and Air Force Reserve are working together to change the way Reservists are employed. This reform is important as it will help create a more flexible and adaptive Australian Defence Force. The reform also proposes to create an employment offer that has greater in-built flexibility and better meets the needs of individual Reservists.
To the thousands who returned their completed Reserve Reform Survey, thank you! The Reserve Reform Stream has been advised this Survey was extremely successful. All feedback, both encouraging and brutal was considered. Results are providing compelling evidence that will enable future decisions to deliver evidence based change for a more robust and flexible Reserve as a part of the Total Force.
The Reserve Reform Stream is currently seeking approval, of Plan SUAKIN, which includes recommendations, based in part on the Survey findings, so implementation can commence.
