Application To Obtain Defence Imagery Of SIEV 36 Incident

Defence imagery of the SIEV 36 incident is available on request. Requests for imagery are to be made via submission of this online application form.

Viewers are warned that they may find some of the imagery to be graphic and disturbing. The collection of imagery contains a number of scenes of injured and deceased persons. Some of this imagery has already been released to the media by the Office of the Northern Territory Coroner.

Due to the volume of imagery and the sensitivities of some aspects of the imagery, notably images of injured and deceased persons, the collection of Defence imagery will not be available from the Defence website. DVD copies of imagery will be provided on request only by mail or may be collected from Defence after receipt of this online request.
