The RUSI Journal

The aim of the Journal is to encourage the discussion of national security and defence matters, and to improve public awareness and understanding of such matters. To this end, the Journal provides a forum for the publication of papers presented at meetings and seminars organised by the Constituent Bodies of the Royal United Services Institute of Australia Incorporated, and International Seminars organised by the National Council. Other suitable articles from members or other sources that have a bearing on this aim may also be published (for example, from the Australian Defence College, the Australian Command and Staff College, and the ADF Cadet Training Colleges).

The next Journal is expected to contain the record of proceeedings of an International Seminar to be contducted jointly with the Australian Defence College in May 2007

Subscribing to the Journal

Members of the RUSI receive the Journal through their Constituent Bodies. Journal subscription for non-members in Australia is $20.00 p.a., including postage. The subscription rate for non-members outside Australia is $25.00 p.a., including airmail postage. Subscriptions can be arranged through the Business Manager at the address of the Journal Board of Management. (GPO Box 590, Canberra City, ACT Australia 2601).

The Journal of the Royal United Services Institute of Australia is subscribed to by many prominent libraries in Australia and overseas. The Journal, (ISSN 0728-1188), is indexed by the Australian Public Affairs Information Service, produced by the National Library of Australia and published by Informit.
