What is RSS?
RSS (Rich Site Syndication or Really Simple Syndication) is a way of automatically receiving the latest select Defence updates via internet. The advantage of RSS is that by subscribing, your browser or RSS software (called news aggregators) can monitor the updates to the Defence RSS pages and download updates direct to your computer.

Getting Started
Most current web browsers automatically recognise RSS pages. Microsoft internet Explorer 7.x and Firefox 2.x are examples. Free news aggregator software is also available for download on the Internet.

Simply subscribe to the RSS and browser or RSS software will automatically check for updates and download the latest files to your computer.

Unfortunately, those using the current Defence DRN SOE will not be able to receive RSS updates at this time.
