Sports during RIMPAC 2006


On the 3rd of July the Deployable Joint Force Headquarters - Maritime participated in RIMPAC 2006 sports day. The sports included golf, tenpin bowling, and surfing.

Clearance Diving Team 1 working with United States Mobile Diving Salvage Unit 1. They were testing the hydraulic whinching equipment in Hickham Air Force Base, Hawaii.

Multinational Forces soccer team played at Pearl Harbor against USS Rushmore. The Australians won the match 4 - 0.

Leading Seaman Matt Cooper scored 3 goals for the Aussies. Matt is over in Pearl Harbor with the Sea Combatant Commander Multi National Forces Group for Exercise Rimpac 2006.
