One Mob, Different Country
Representatives of foreign air forces, along with employers of Australian Defence Force reservists, were treated to a reception at RAAF Base Darwin on June 15 forMiddle Caption:
Exercise Pitch Black, the Royal Australian Air Force's largest biannual exercises that allows the men and women of the Royal Australian Air Force to train with representatives from The United States, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, France, Germany, Canada, United Kingdom and NATO.
Exercise Pitch Black 2008 (PB08) is an Offensive Counter Air (OCA) and Defensive Counter Air (DCA) exercise that provides a valuable learning experience for RAAF personnel in a genuine multinational environment. The PB08 scenario focuses on both the operational and tactical levels of warfare. their tour of Exercise Pitch Black 08.
