WOFF Brewer remusterd to WOD and graduated from course Sep ’99, and spent the first 18 months at Richmond as the Base WOD.   In May of 2001 WOFF Brewer was posted to Air Lift Group, where he subsequently served as the WOD on many exercises, operations and deployments. He deployed to Krygystan on operation Slipper with 33SQN for a short period in 2001, and as a consequence recognised the need to formally develop deployment doctrine for the mustering and the Squadron Warrant Officer - especially within his sphere of responsibility - Air Lift Group.   This ongoing development required two official visits to the Pentagon, where Base citizenship responsibilities were developed in consultation with the Chief Master Sergeant of the United States Air Force.

As a consequence, ALG were to successfully deploy its contingent to the MEAO for operations Bastille and Falconer, and WOFF Brewer was a part of that deployment.  The deployments' integration into the coalition airbase was complete.
