Media and community scrutiny in recent times have highlighted a range of issues relating to the delivery of payroll services to members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
Defence has acknowledged the challenges around the complexities of managing the ADF's remuneration system and put in place remediation action to address process problems and areas of concern in the medium to long term. It has recently become clear that more immediate action is required to address current issues for members and identify and address systemic pay problems.
