7.1.10 Overview

Many housing conditions depend on a member's dependant category. This Division is an index to the housing conditions that apply to each type of member. It provides a quick reference to the main features of housing assistance for members. The references link to the rules for housing benefits.

Members with dependants may continue to live in accommodation provided under Part 7 by Defence Housing Australia. The member must have been living in the accommodation before they become a member with dependants and have approval under section 7.7.8 to remain in the accommodation.
