Ben Lawrence - Kingston Digger Sticks to His Post

Kingston’s Private Ben Lawrence, 20, works amongst mountains of mail at the International Stabilisation Force post office in Timor-Leste. Ben sorts through almost 150 bags of mail per week.

Ben is part of Operation Astute, the Australian Army’s part of an international effort to assist in restoring peace so that the East Timorese can resolve their differences peacefully and democratically.
