Lance Corporal Anthony Burrow - Brisbane (Munruben Forrest)
After working as a house-painting apprentice Anthony missed working with electronics and looked for a career where he could match is interest with computers and travel. With a few words of encouragement from his older brother Cameron Burow, who is in the Air Force as a Corporal based in Sydney 's 1 st Communications Centre Squadron at Richmond , telling Anthony about the lifestyle he decided to give it a go.
Anthony spent the first four months of his Air Force career in Melbourne studying at Simpson Barracks as Communications Information Systems Controller or CISCON. "The learning and education I've got from Defence has been great, we learn along the lines of some of the biggest and best programs out there like CISCO."
Anthony first posting saw him move to Royal Australian Air Force Base Tindal at 322 Expeditionary Combat Support Squadron. "This is my first operation and I was excited at the chance to put my skills to the test and really push myself in an operational environment. I'm here to support any I.T. related matter and to make sure that we maintain communications so the job runs smoothly.I'm doing my part."

Anthony is working for the Joint Task Force 641 in the North West Mobile Force (NORFORCE) in Alice Springs . NORFORCE is a regional Force Surveillance unit located throughout the NT.
Operation Outreach is the Australian Defence Force assistance to the whole of government Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) set up to provide aid to Indigenous communities throughout the Northern Territory.
