HMAS Kanimbla personnel assist with the offloading of humanitarian aid supplies

Defence personnel embarked on the Royal Australian Navy amphibious transport ship HMAS KANIMBLA continue their role in earthquake relief in Indonesia under Operation Sumatra Assist Phase II.

Nine members of the ship's complement were lost in the crash of a Sea King helicopter while supporting relief operations on 2 April 2005.
