Military ceremony in Indonesia for ADF helicopter crash victims

The Indonesian National Defence Force conducted a memorial ceremony at Sibolga, North Sumatra Province, on 4 April 2005, to honour the lives lost in the Australian helicopter crash in Nias. The Indonesian National Defence Force and Australian Defence Force personnel have been working together since Boxing Day 2004 as part of the Indonesian Government-led humanitarian relief program in the tsunami and earthquake-affected region of Sumatra.
