Evacuation of Australian Nationals from Lebanon

Members of the Australian Defence Force (ADF) have been deployed to support the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) in the evacuation of Australian Nationals from Lebanon.

The specialist ADF staff are assissting DFAT in Beirut, Turkey and Cyprus.

All Beirut evacuees to Cyprus have their passports checked on arrival at the evacuation centre at Larnaca Port. Australian citizens who wish to leave Lebanon are being evacuated by sea, to Larnaca in Cyprus and Mersin in Turkey.
