Pakistan Army farewells ADF humanitarian mission
Traditional sword dancing was part of the entertainment when personnel of the Australian Defence Force humanitarian mission in Kashmir under Operation Pakistan Assist were treated to a programme of Pakistan food and culture during a farewell function hosted by the Pakistan Army 25 Mountain Regiment Artillery and 28 Infantry Brigade.

Members of the Australian Defence Force, assisted by the Pakistan Defence Force, deliver school supplies as a farewell gift to a local village. The majority of schools in the Dhanni region were destroyed by the October 2005 earthquake, but reconstruction completed by the Pakistan Defence Force and many aid organisations have enabled many schools to reopen. The gift of school supplies includes pens, paper and school bags for the students and markers and paper for the teachers.
