Biography

Colonel Keith D. Schollum

Australian Defence Representative to the Office for Reconstruction and Humanitarian Assistance

Colonel Keith D. Schollum graduated from the Royal Military College Duntroon in 1975 into the Royal New Zealand Armoured Corps and subsequently joined the Royal Australian Armoured Corps in 1977.

Following a series of regimental, training and staff appointments, he attended Command and Staff College, Fort Queenscliff.

Colonel Schollum has held a number of high profile appointments since then, including Commanding Officer 3rd/4th Cavalry Regiment, Colonel Training at Land Headquarters, Chief of Staff (Australian Defence Staff, Washington) and Assistant Defence Attaché (Washington).

Recently Colonel Schollum was appointed the Australian Defence Representative to the Office for Reconstruction and Humanitarian Assistance in Iraq.

Colonel Schollum has a Bachelors Degree, a Graduate Diploma in Management, and has recently completed a Masters Degree.

He is married and has two teenage daughters. He follows all sports and is a keen golf player.
