Al Muthanna Task Group (AMTG) parade
Al Muthanna Task Group 2 (AMTG2) parade before the Commander of the 1st Division Major General Ash Power, 1 Brigade Commander Brigadier John Cantwell and units from the 1st Brigade at Robertson Barracks on October 10, 2005.
AMTG 2 is comprised mostly of infantrymen from the 5/7th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment (5/7 RAR) and troopers from the 2nd Calvary Regiment (2 Cav Regt). The Commanding Officer (CO) of AMTG 2, LTCOL Peter Short (also CO 5/7 RAR) lead the parade, accompanied by 5/7 RAR's Pipes and Drums band, 2 Cav Regt's guidon and 5/7 RAR's colours.
