Al Muthanna Task Group attending a range practice outside As Samawah
Soldiers from the Al Muthanna Task Group's Combat Team Tiger held a combined range practice with British forces near Camp Smitty, in Al Muthanna province, Iraq.
The combined range practice is an example of the increasingly shared responsibility between Australian and British forces for the safety and security in the province.
The AMTG's mission is to help ensure the safety and security of Al Muthanna in order to protect Japanese Ground Defence Force engineers conducting reconstruction in the province, and to train parts of the Iraqi Army.
