home 1st Battalion Royal Australian Regiment
Two
hundred soldiers from 1st Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (1RAR)
returned to Townsville today after a six-month tour in East Timor.
The troops have arrived home in time to take part in this week's
welcome home parade for personnel who have deployed on operations
around the world this year. The parade will be held at The Strand
on Thursday, 20 November. 1RAR deployment to East Timor was its
second.
