Operation VIC FIRE ASSIST
18 February 2009
Health teams get down and dirty
Defence elements continue to provide significant assistance to the Victorian government and emergency services as the transition from response to recovery gathers momentum.
The Australian Defence Force support and infrastructure is providing a key ingredient for victims of the bushfires made homeless, to return to their areas knowing they have the support facilities they need to begin making new lives after the tragedy.
