RAAF members collect donations for bushfire victims
On Friday 13th of February 2009, 5 members from Combat Support Unit Edinburgh conducted a collection in aid of the Red Cross Bushfire Appeal at the main and south gates of RAAF Base Edinburgh.
The collection raised $7665.40 and is in addition to receipts from the many on base donation points.
The total donated by Base personnel (uniformed, Australian Public Service and civilian contractors) is in the vicinity of $15,000.00 with all the collection points continuing to operate.
