Control and Reporting Centre in Afghanistan

Commander Task Unit (CTU) 633.2.5, Wing Commander (WGCDR) Nathan Christie inspects Camp Palomino, the home of the Control and Reporting Centre (CRC).

Due to its distance from the main base at Kandahar Airfield, about 6 kms, the personnel who live and serve at Camp Palomino, where the RAAF Control and Reporting Centre (CRC) is located, get their food delivered in hot boxes.

Camp Palomino, the home of the RAAF Control and Reporting Centre (CRC), has three members in its Logistics cell who take care of all the camps supplies and equipment.

One medic serves with the RAAF Control and Reporting Centre (CRC) in Kandahar, Afghanistan. Corporal Baker is also the only RAAF medic to have served both in the Iraq and Afghanistan theatres.
