Tarin Kowt medical facility opens
The after months of hard work the 1st Mentoring Reconstruction Task Force celebrated the opening of the Afghan Health and Development Service complex in Tarin Kowt, Afghanistan. The project got underway in March 2008 and is now complete and ready for use.
The opening ceremony, which was attended by Tarin Kowt dignitaries including Deputy Governor Uruzgan Province, Mr Khdeeg Rakim, Director Afghan Health and Development Service in Tarin Kowt, Dr Ajab Noor; and section staff from the 1st Mentoring and Reconstruction Task Force, who were instrumental in the realisation of the project.
