Digger treats elderly Afghan
The support that the soldiers of the 1st Mentoring and Reconstruction Task Force provides to the people of Uruzgan Province, goes far beyond the obvious reconstruction, mentoring and security missions.
During this patrol, the Australian soldiers were asked by an elderly man suffering from a head injury to provide medical assistance.
The patrols medic rendered first aid, treating the elderly man’s injury that would have otherwise gone without any proper care.
