Chief of Defence Force and Minister for Defence Science and Personnel visit Afghanistan
On the 9th January 2009, the soldiers of the 1st Mentoring and Reconstruction Task Force were visited by a number of dignitaries including the Chief of the Defence Force, Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston, AC, AFC and the Honourable Warren Snowdon MP, Minister for Defence Science and Personnel.
The visit, allowed the official party to witness the work of the Battle Group and to congratulate the soldiers on the great success their mission is achieving.
