HMAS Kanimbla returned home from Operation Padang Assist
HMAS Kanimbla returned home after a six week regional disaster relief operation that was conducted in response to an urgent request for assistance from the Indonesian government.
More than 150 RAN personnel and Navy families welcomed Kanimbla home on November 19, but no one was more proud of the Landing Platform Amphibious' achievements than her ship's company who responded to the short-notice tasking with great enthusiasm and determination.
