Australians Complete Indonesian Earthquake Mission

The official handover of the local Medical facility in Seigerringing, West Sumatra. Australian Army engineers built the temporary facility to enable the health clinic to operate, while their permanent facility is rebuilt after sustaining severe damage during the earthquake on 30 September 2009.

Four weeks after an earthquake devastated the Indonesian region of Padang-Pariaman, Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel assigned to Operation Padang Assist are returning home this weekend.
