Al Muthanna Task Group 3 (AMTG 3) at Camp Smitty receives a visit from Italian Major General (MAJGEN) Alessandro Montuorin
Al Muthanna Task Group 3 (AMTG 3) at Camp Smitty receives a visit from Italian Major General (MAJGEN) Alessandro Montuori, the Deputy Commanding General (DCG) of the Multi-National Corps Iraq (MNCI).
Major General Montuori attended a briefing by Lieutenant Colonel (LTCOL) Michael Mahy and his staff to familiarise himself with the capabilities of the Australian force based in Al Muthanna. This was followed by a tour of the camp.
The General spoke to soldiers and was briefed on Australian equipment.
