Grand Finals excitement in the Middle East

Even whilst deployed, members of the Australian Defence Force in Iraq have been given the opportunity to watch the grand final of the NRL.

Townsville based soldiers, who aren't on duty, will be able to sit down and watch the game on the weekend and barrack for their team.

The ADF has sent over 1300 members to serve as part of the Australian Governments contribution to the rehabilitation and reconstruction efforts in Iraq.
