The third Australian Army Training Team - Iraq return home
The third Australian Army Training Team - Iraq returned home to Australia via Sydney Airport in August 2005. The team deployed in February 2005.
It successfully completed its task of training Iraqi Army logistics specialists in the support of their combat elements.
The team was welcomed home by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Defence, Teresa Gambaro MP, and the Land Commander Major General Mark Kelly, as well as family and friends.
