Commander of the US 7th Fleet Vice Admiral John Bird visits ISF
Commander of the US 7th Fleet Vice Admiral John Bird met with International Stabilisation Force (ISF) Commander Brigadier Bill Sowry at Camp Phoenix for discussions over breakfast. The Australian Ambassador Mr Peter Heyward and the US Ambassador Mr Hans Klemm also attended.
After breakfast, Vice Admiral Bird was presented an ISF tais. The Vice Admiral came to East Timor ahead of a vist by 7th Fleet destroyer USS Lassen.
