Medal presentation
A medal ceremony was held in Dili to farewell various members of East Timor Battle Group 5 (TLBG 5) who are returning to Australia to proceed on posting.
All members were awarded Australian Service Medals with the East Timor clasp, representing service with the ADF in East Timor of 30 days or more.
The medals were presented by Brigadier Mark Holmes, Commander of the International Stabilisation Force (ISF) - East Timor; the Deputy Commander of the ISF, Colonel Peter Wood, and Commanding Officer of TLBG 5, Lieutenant Colonel Darren Huxley.
