Governor General visit
Her Excellency the Governor-General of Australia Ms Quentin Bryce AC arrived in East Timor today to a warm Timorese welcome. Her Excellency is in East Timor at the invitation of the President of Timor-Leste, Jose Ramos Horta.
During her visit she will meet with the President, Prime Minister and members of the Ministry of East Timor. The Governor General will also visit with the Australian Embassy, AUSAid, Australian police and Defence members deployed to the country.
