Jose Ramos-Horta visits Australian soldiers at the Gleno Forward Operation Base
East Timor President Jose Ramos-Horta paid a visit to Australian soldiers at the Gleno Forward Operation Base. The trip was at the invitation of the Commander of the International Stabilisation Force. The visitors moved on to other location by Black Hawk Helicopter, prior to returning to Dili.
The soldiers at the Gleno Forward Operating Base were pleased to see the President who thanked them for assisting East Timor in improving its security situation. This in turn will allow his Government time to further develop its own security infrastructure.
