Practice exercise for team work training
The International Stabilisation Force (ISF) mandate from the Government of Timor-Leste requires it to be called upon as third tier response in the event of an incident. If a situation cannot be effectively handled by Timorese police or United Nations Police (UNPOL) then UNPOL will call upon the ISF.
In order to refine operational procedures between UNPOL elements and the ISF an exercise recently took place devised to practice team work between the Malaysian Formed Police Unit and the ISF Quick Reaction Force.
