Honiara Patrol


A platoon of Tongan Soldiers, part of Combined Task Force 635, has conducted a joint patrol with the Participating Police and Royal Solomon Islands Police Forces. The patrols include an Australian Army Medic and was conducted at Honiara’s Lawson Soccer Stadium during a provincial soccer match between Guadalcanal and Maliata. The Tongan Platoon patrolled in support of the Participating Police Force in order to assist them to provide security to key establishments and to maintain general law and order in the Solomon Islands.
