Global Operations
The Australian Defence Force (ADF) has approximately 3,000 members deployed to nine overseas operations. Additionally, approximately 500 ADF personnel are involved in domestic operations ranging from protecting Australia’s borders and patrolling Australian waters to providing assistance to indigenous communities in the Northern Territory.
